Sabbath, May 4, 2013 was a day of celebrations in all our churches in the Cayman Islands, as we joined thousands of other congregations across the Inter-American Division in celebration of the day of Vision One Million. Hundreds of passionate disciples of Jesus invited their friends to our churches to share in the worship experience this past Sabbath. On Thursday evening, April 25, Cayman Prep and Cayman Academy’s debating teams went head to head in the Fred Speirs Memorial Inter-School Debate. The teams discussed the relationship between education and politics in front of an audience of parents, teachers and the media, as well as Judge Nova Hall and Rotary President, Ravi Kapoor. Global Youth Sabbath

It was a typical bright and sunny Cayman Islands Morning as the youth of the Cayman Islands Conference set out in several districts to participate in this initiative of the World Church.  Nine of the sixteen churches were involved with individual youth from the remaining seven joining the four groups organized. ASi Donates 200 Books to New Converts

Members of ASI Cayman donated over 200 copies of the book 28 Fundamental Beliefs of Seventh-day Adventists to the new converts who were baptised during the Impact West Bay Campaign. Acting President – Sis. Annie K. Price gave a brief introduction to the audience of what ASi is, while members distributed the books to the grateful recipients. 239 Baptised and New Adventist Church Formed in West Bay

The Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists recently concluded a family life seminar and evangelistic campaign in the district of West Bay, which resulted in the baptism of 239 persons. The meetings, which addressed issues such as divorce, domestic violence, infidelity and drug abuse, were held under three big white tents on Batabano Road beside the West Bay Police Station. 10 persons were baptised on Wednesday night under the big white tent on Batabnoo Road as the Impact West Bay Campaign approached its final 3 services.
