GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS

Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees, hat I may follow it to the end. Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart. Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. Psalm 119 : 33-35

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

It will not be long now before the activities of earth grinds to an eternal halt. It will not be long before the cares of life that weigh us down, are over and Gods eternal peace reigns within our hearts. We are yet one more week closer to that week when history will end and eternity begins. And yet there are so many who are not conscious of the urgency of the time. Think of the tragedy of losing all our friends, neighbors, coworkers and associates to eternal hell, simply because they were ignorant of the truth that we hold. To this end, this conference joins the world church in the global initiative entitled, “That the world may know”.  We have secured thousands of copies the ‘Great Controversy’ and will be placing them in the hands of our fellow residents this week. We encourage all our members to join this effort with our pastors as we seek to bring the end time message to the residents of theseIslands.

In the same breath I would like to encourage all our members to join the Conference wide Wednesday mornings prayer and fasting at theKingsChurch. This initiative under the constant in prayer theme provides you with an opportunity to join the prayer warriors of our churches in one upper room experience to intercede with the Lord on your behalf. Please make every effort to be part of the experience and watch God at work in your life. I wish to remind you also that this week approaching, the entire Atlantic Caribbean Uni0n will be praying for the members of theKingsChurch. We have just completed praying this past week for the East End andEphesusChurches.

Next weekend, March 9-11 will be our Annual Brac Convention. I would personally like to encourage as many of our members as possible to join us in Cayman Brac for this life changing event. Under the theme, “Transforming Grace”, the Brac will come alive with the best of gospel music, and inspirational camp meeting revival.  This is a good time to give yourself and your family a weekend to remember in the Brac. Hope to see you there.

Finally, the members of the EbenezerChurchenter their 3rd anniversary celebration this weekend with Pastor Steve Cornwall fromJamaica. Services begin this Friday evening at 7:30 and continue throughout the weekend, with two services on Sabbath and one on Sunday evening. Come and share in the Ebenezer experience as we give God thanks for three glorious years.

So may the blessings of Almighty God falls on you like the dew of heaven as you worship Him this Sabbath.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

In the closing scenes of this earth’s history many of these children and youth will astonish people by their witness to the truth, which will be borne in simplicity, yet with spirit and power. They have been taught the fear of the Lord, and their hearts have been softened by a careful and prayerful study of the Bible. In the near future many children will be endued with the Spirit of God and will do a work in proclaiming the truth to the world that at that time cannot well be done by the older members of the church.{AH 489.3}
