GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS

The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV)

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Today we have another chance to rejoice in the Lord and in the goodness of our God. We rejoice with those who are having mountain top experience, and for those in the valley, just remember that the God of the mountain is the God in the Valley. As we enter into His courts to worship this week, it is my joy to remind you of our Vision One Million program next Sabbath.  All our members are encouraged to invite at least one visitor to church next Sabbath. We also anticipate a great harvest of souls as our churches conclude their evangelistic efforts in baptisms all across the conference. We are anticipating the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our churches as we celebrate the Wonder of Salvation.  In the evening at 5:00pm all churches are ask to meet at the Kings church for a spiritual feasts of the best of Gospel Singing in the Cayman Islands.  Please ensure you bring an offering with you. We solicit your prayers for the families among us who continue to grief the loss of their loved ones. The Bodden Town church is hard hit with three families grieving at this time.  We extended condolences to Sis Karen Bodden as she buries her mother this weekend.  Our heartfelt condolence goes out to the family of the late Rex Ford, former elder of the Bodden Town Church who recently passed suddenly. To the brethren of the East End church, we share the grief on the recent passing of Sis Ruth McLaughlin. We know this a time of sorrow for all of us, but may the hand of the Lord hold you up as you pass through this wilderness of woe.  We will continue to count the missing among us until that morning when all of God’s children will be accounted for. May the God of heaven bless us all this week as we seek His face today.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

The physician who has received wisdom from above, who knows that Christ is His personal Saviour, because he has himself been led to the Refuge, knows how to deal with the trembling, guilty, sin-sick souls who turn to him for help. He can respond with assurance to the inquiry, “What must I do to be saved?” He can tell the story of the Redeemer’s love. {CH 351.3}
