Red, yellow, blue and colors of different hues streamed through the gates of the Truman Bodden complex on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 as Cayman Academy hosted its annual sports day. Devotion set the pace for the day’s activities with opening remarks by the principal Mrs. Dracket, opening prayer by Pastor Dracket and  President of the Cayman Island Conference, Pastor O’Connor  declared the sports day open. It was an action packed day as students from Pre-K to Year 12 for the Tiger (yellow), Puma (blue) and Jaguar (red) houses competed to show who was the fastest on the track. Muscles, stamina and determination were pushed to the limit as students, teachers and parents cheered and worked hard to claim the champion cup. When the dust settled at the end of the day, Tiger (yellow) was declared the champion while Jaguar (red) and Puma (blue) were second and third respectively. We thank God for good weather and a safe day! We congratulate Ms. McGarvey and her team on a job well done. Ms. McGarvey expressed her appreciation to the Conference Executives, teachers, students, parents and all who supported the day’s events.
