ACUM
Our conference officers are presently away attending the installation service of the Atlantic Caribbean Union Conference.  This instillation is scheduled to take place this Sabbath afternoon at 4 pm.  Visit www.bahamasconference.org for live coverage.
Baptisms & Congratulations
Last year, 459 precious souls found the Kingdom by the power of our Lord and Saviour. Congratulations to all the churches and workers in the field. We would also like to give God the thanks and praise for His marvelous works so early in 2011. Already this year 11 precious souls have given their hearts to the Lord. We extend our congratulations to all the churches that have seen His workings: West Bay – 1, Kings – 4, Ebenezer – 3, Savannah – 2, Creek – 1.
Evangelism
The Conference plans to sponsor 4 major campaigns this year. The first begins on February 11 in the George Town district with Evangelist Emmanuel Peters. The Eastern Region campaign is scheduled to begin on April 03 in Bodden Town with Evangelist Morgan. The Western Campaign will be held in the last half of the year and the Spanish family will have a campaign also.
CONFERENCE PRAYER SUMMIT
The Conference Prayer Summit will be held on January 22 & 23, 2011. Our local churches Conference wide will hold prayer and fasting sessions on the 22nd of January.  Our main focus will be the up-coming campaigns and our local programmes.
Officers Workshop
Departmental workshops continue at Cayman Academy. This afternoon at 3:30, the Children Ministries Leaders will meet at  the Grade 6 classroom with Sis. McDonald. Then on Sunday, January 16, all Prayer Coordinators will meet with Pastor Dixon at 9:30, and  Pastor O’Connor will meet with the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty coordinators at 9:oo and the Family Life Directors, Assistants, and singles coordinators at 10:00 am in the auditorium. All involved are asked to attend.
Conventions 2011
Convention 2011 under the theme By his Grace with guest speaker Pastor Mansfield Edwards, president of the Ontario Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Canada  and the ACUM Administration is now behind us. This was a grand affair with Friday and Sunday night at the George Town Church and all day on Sabbath at the Lion’s Centre. The musical and dramatic presentations from some of the finest musicians and performers from across the conference were without equal. A special prayer, power hour with Pastor Peter Kerr, secretary of ACUM, served to consecrate the grounds and seek God’s face for a powerful anointing throughout the day. All the days’ events were a demonstration of God’s presence, as the 4:00 pm. Praise Reunion, the drama piece, the special message from Dr. Leonard Johnson ACUM president all blended together in a beautiful tapestry of God’s grace. At 10:30 Sunday night the curtains came down after another power packed presention from Dr. Edwards at the George Town church.
CRUSADE PLANS
There will be a joint board meeting of the West Bay, Bethel, Ephesus, Kings, George Town, Ebenezer, Bethany, and Maranatha churches at the Ephesus church on Sabbath at 4:30 pm.  This is a planing meeting for the Western Campaign.  All Board Members of each church should attend.
Behold The Lamb
The Bodden Town Church presents “Behold the Lamb” Gospel Exposition 2011 with Evangelist Steve King on Saturday, January 22 to February 6.  This begins at 9:15 on Sabbath morning and continues nightly at 7:15.  All are invited to come out and be blessed.
Bereavements
The Conference family expresses sincere condolences to the families who have recently lost loved ones. Please remember these families in your prayers: The Eddie Scott family of the Creek Church, Cayman Brac; The West family of the Savannah Church; and The Rex Allen McLaughlin family of the Savannah Church.
CAYMAN ACADEMY FAIR
Cayman Academy presents a Grand Fair on the school grounds on Sunday, January 23 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Teacher will have tickets on sale for only $2.00.  refreshments  will be on sale! Attractions include: domino, volleyball and football competitions, water slide, bouncing castle, garage sale, fashion show and talent concert featuring the Savanna SDA Pathfinder marching band and many many more! Looking forward to the support of all the churches.
FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service for the late Mr. Delano Hislop, Sis. Marylee Rowlandson’s brother, will be held this Sabbath, January 15 at 3:00 pm at the Agape Worship Center.   We extend our condolences to her and all the Hislop family.
WOMEN’S CONVENTION
The annual Women’s Ministries Convention held at Camp Kalaqua, Florida will be in February 2011. Interested persons can contact Hazel Fletcher at 916-4838.
CONQUERING GIANTS
Pathfinders interested in going to the Inter-American Division Camporee, “Conquering Giants¨ in Mexico April 19-23 are asked to check with their Pathfinder Director for details.
ASI ACTIVITY
ASI invites all Adventist business owners, prospectives and professional members to a social get-together on Saturday, February 5 at 8:oo pm at the home of Dr. S. A. Tomlinson, located at 869 Shamrock Road. Special guest will be, Businessman, and international health speaker, Dr. Orrett Morgan, who will be introducing new vegan treats. Please come out and lend your support to God’s people and the furtherance of His work in this part of the vineyard. For further details please call 326-3726.

MEN’S CONVENTION 2011
